AF-5800 EFIS with high resolution SV
That must be such a great feeling brother One I’m going to experience in my life 🙌🏼💚
Wish there was avail for the 5500 as this is so different!
Wow!
Thanks!
Hi Robert how would you connect the G5 to the 5600?
Why every aircraft on Earth dont have this equipment ill never understand.
ahhhh.... money.
That's Awesome, well equipped RV..
Would be nice if you could explain the avionics panels.
Are all the Comms features already available on a non-touch 5600 ?
This video is incorrect. I spoke to their support person and the 0HC and 1HC are different values so you must do both. This was causing me a problem with the AOA indication.
If you have a center A 5000 screen for navigation, why do you need the Garmin underneath as well?
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Chuck Yeager say that the AOA Indicator is a worthless instrument???
Rob, you make an awesome product. Hopefully one day I can afford an airplane to install it in!
It looks to me the right seater is watching for traffic while the back seater is filming. I don't see any safety issue here. Rob is on top of the situation.
Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
Well, then, I stand corrected! My apologies. I should have given you the benefit of the doubt since I can't fully see where the camera man is seated. I must say, I love the your setup/system.
The person filming was in the back seat.
Rob, Clearly the right seater is busy filming you as you pointout all the features. My cooment stands, no one is looking outside!! And how effective are two traffic systems for non-transponder equipped aircraft? Not very! You can't use traffic systems as an excuse to not stay vigilant out the window!
Really? The plane is an RV-10 and it has a very large front window.
There was a pilot in the right seat and it has 2 separate traffic systems.
Now that is slick - I'm gonna have to figure out how to retrofit my "old" AFS system with this!
Wow !
Thanks for sharing!:) Has anyone seen the RV-10 AC out of Brazil? It's awesome. I would love to have the RV-10 AC with the PBS TP 100 Turbo-Prop someday soon! Happy/Safe Flying to you and yours!
What the hell was that @ :58?
Rob, you really need different alert tones for engine warnings and other stuff. Every time you get an altitude alert, I get a pucker factor. (trained by the 2002)
So... when do we reach Ludicrous Speed ??
Seems the pilot cannot use the front window to see what he's flying towards. All the displays and whatnot obstructs the really important view... whether you'll avoid driving away from the mountain instead of into the mountain. The displays and button panels need to be placed A LOT lower, so that the front window view is unobstructed. And also, the area where their feets are, that area should be a window also, or else, how do you know what that view down there looks like?
Who's looking out for traffic!! You're clearly VFR yet heads down the whole time monkeying with your EFIS and setting a bad exampe for pilot wanna-be's. And TCAS doesn't count. EYES OUT SIDE!! You should have a pilot in the left seat while you program from the right for this demo.
I'd love to see input from a panel group, maybe a EAA chapter mtg, performing a comparison.
Looks like Mt. Hood.
nice !
some narration would be nice
Is there a dedicated engine screen?
I dont believe I have ever seen a more gorgeous RV-10! You should be very proud of this piece of flying machinery
Hey Rob, how are you getting weather and traffic, ADS-B or XM with GTX?
Awesome!
wow that is some cool stuff. takes the fun outta flying.
Wow !
Good stuff !
dude, the kid dropped that tow bar pretty hard!
wow... this is good stuff
